Nervous is normal

You are not expected to arrive confident.

Most women walk in a little nervous. You may be worried about how to stand, what your hands are doing or whether the camera will find everything you usually criticize about yourself.

I won't put you in front of a camera and expect you to figure it out. I demonstrate every pose, guide the little details and show you what we are creating along the way. The comment I hear most often before a client leaves is that I made her feel comfortable.

In her words

The thing I hear most from clients: “You made me feel so comfortable.”

Read client reviews

From the moment I met Chelsea, I felt my anxiety go away. She had me 100% comfortable in the first five minutes. We were laughing and giggling the entire time. I never knew I could look and feel so confident in my own skin. Her presence is calming, and what she captures is beyond what I ever expected.

What actually happens

From first conversation to final photographs

The experience, step by step.

01

We plan it together

We talk through the look you want, what to bring and the outfits that feel most like you. You do not need to arrive with it all figured out.

02

Hair + makeup

Professional hair and makeup are included, so the session begins slowly and you have time to settle in before the camera comes out.

03

Every pose is guided

Chelsea gets into each pose first, then guides the small details—from your hands to your expression—and shows you the back of the camera as you go.

04

Your private reveal

At your virtual ordering appointment, you see the finished photographs and choose only the images and products you actually love.

Your photographs. Your decision.

Private really means private.

Boudoir is personal. Your images are never posted, entered into a portfolio or shared anywhere without your written permission. A fully private experience is always an option—no awkward explanation required.

Meet your photographer

I'm Chelsea.

Your photographer, pose guide and calm voice from start to finish.

I care just as much about how the session feels as I do about the finished photographs. I will tell you exactly what to do, fix the details you cannot see and keep the room relaxed. You do not have to perform confidence for me. We build it as we go.

For me, photographs tell the parts of a story that words cannot. They become keepsakes you can return to—one honest moment held still, with every detail and emotion intact.

If you are looking for someone who will guide you closely, keep the room full of laughter and help you feel more confident than when you arrived, that is the experience I want to create.

Before you ask

The questions nearly everyone has.

What if I have no idea how to pose?

That is expected. I demonstrate each pose before asking you to do it and guide you through every adjustment. You are never left standing there wondering what to do.

Do my photographs have to be shared online?

No. Your privacy comes first, and your images are never shared without your written permission. You can have a completely private session and gallery.

What should I wear?

You will receive outfit guidance before the session, and I can help you narrow down what to bring. Lingerie is not required; a bodysuit, favorite shirt, sweater or other meaningful piece can photograph beautifully.

How long is the session?

Plan on roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, including professional hair and makeup. Some sessions run a little shorter or longer depending on styling and outfit changes.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place in my private studio in New Lebanon, New York, serving Saratoga, the Capital Region, Hudson Valley and the Berkshires.

How much should I plan to invest?

Sessions are reserved with a $350 retainer. Collections begin at $1,899, and images and products are purchased separately during your ordering appointment.
